Chest wall necrosis after radiotherapy






Young man recieved chemotherapy and radiotherapy as treatment for lymphoma located in mediastinum. Necrosis of the chest wall produced rib destruction and great ulceration that developed secondary infection. Surgycal approach was skin and rib ressection followed by cleaning of the wound. Reconstruction consisted of skin flap.
